Some details to add to the Racing Calendar dates:

be announced shortly.
11th/12th April. Rnd 1 of the 2015 BRCA National series. Come and watch
the best of the top UK drivers in action. Entries are still open if
you wish to enter. Details on BRCA site and closing date is 11th March.
25th/26th April Round 1/4 of the 2015 NE Regional series. This is a must do
event if you want to get a Formula grade for racing.
The 2015 10th Off Road European Championships (known simply as The Euros) are coming to Robin Hood Raceway and Yorcc!!
This is our chance to host (and watch) some of the best drivers in the world at the clay track at RHR. If only there was a website dedicated to the event, with everything you needed to know.
Oh, there is. It’s here.
One thing to note is that there’s a warm-up event in June. Yorcc’s Mike Cockerill says: “We’ve had 14 entries on the first day, so if YORCC members want to have a go they need to apply early. Priority will be given to Euro entrants, followed by first come, first served.”

Don’t forget to get your membership renewal in to the BRCA. It is due for renewal on 1st January 2015 and there may be delays due to volume of renewals. Many Clubs will need to see your 2015 Card before being allowed to race.
On Saturday we have a Club meeting run to the usual format. 2wd and 4wd classes in stock and mod. Doors open 1745, racing starts at 1845 if track is complete.
On Sunday we are having an open meeting for the first time in years,( I am told). It will run on a modified Saturday track and Doors open at 0930. Hope to have 4 heats and Finals but the timetable will depend on number of entries and classes. Finish time around 1630. If the turnout is good we can add Sunday racing to the Indoor calendar in the future.
It’s that time of year when we have our AGM. It starts at 1900 after the track is built and then into racing. All YORCC members are welcome to attend the meeting, which normally lasts about 45 minutes. Non-members are welcome to race.
Up for discussion are: championship rules, track building and removal, forthcoming events and the election of a new committee + AOB.
See you all Saturday!
